Wild strawberries
Unlike cultivated strawberries, wild strawberries grow spontaneously in shaded woodland areas: their use dates back to prehistoric times, and is first documented in the Neolithic age. Although smaller with respect to traditional strawberries, their aroma and flavour is even more intense and mouthwatering. They also boast excellent purifying properties.
